Substance Abuse Resource Center (SARC), group meetings are available to all members of the CTC family and community when school is in session. For more information about the meetings, please contact Nadiya Filimonova at 254-501-3096.
When determining to refer a client to another agency we take into consideration:
- Person can request referral
- Persons who are suicidal and if they have a plan to achieve their goal
- Person is out of control or homicidal
- No longer is a student
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
Is AA for you?
Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.
Overeaters Anonymous (OA)
Is OA for you?
Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of individuals who through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating.

Mindfulness Hour
Mindfulness Hour will introduce students to a widely use of reflecting tools on how to manage everyday stressful situations. This practice can significantly benefit students by improving their mental health, academic performance, and overall well-being.
